Drawing inspiration from the renowned artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her iconic Adobe architecture house, 'the ghost ranch,' NATAN's collection captures the essence of 'the mother of American modernism.' O’Keeffe's famed paintings of enlarged flowers, skyscrapers, and Mexican landscapes have left an indelible mark. Her style and design sensibility serve as a pivotal element of an aspirational aesthetic.
The collection's primary color palette encompasses subtle earth tones, whites, and greys, transitioning to warmer earthy hues. These are harmoniously intertwined with vivid, powerful tones that echo the landscapes and floral artworks that defined O’Keeffe's legacy.
Beyond the color exploration, this season's creative journey ventures into new territories of textiles and structures. Craftsmanship takes center stage with handcrafted quilting, crochet, sewing, and knitting – a nod to Georgia's own creative practices. And not to be overlooked, the silhouettes are adorned with meticulously handcrafted jewelry, reminiscent of the metals in the jewelry and sculptures of O’Keeffe's dear friend, Calder.
