Metalgroup Launches SCRAP

THE SOLIDARITY RECYCLING EXHIBITION

**The Origin of SCRAP**

The adapted work company Metalgroup, located in Marcinelle, is launching a remarkable initiative with the introduction of the SCRAP brand. This solidarity recycling project aims to reuse material scraps generated from their various activities, including steel, aluminum, wood, and plexiglass. Thanks to the collaboration with Belgian designers Sylvain Busine and Patrick Everaert, SCRAP transforms these materials into unique and elegant objects, while supporting a social and environmental cause.

SCRAP was born from Metalgroup's desire to give a second life to materials that would otherwise be discarded. This project embodies an innovative approach to the circular economy, where each piece created is a statement of commitment to sustainability and inclusivity. Metalgroup, an adapted work company, prides itself on providing a rewarding work environment for people with disabilities. Their priority is the inclusion and professional fulfillment of each of their employees.
