The Concept

Chef Kevin Lejeune and his team welcome you to La Canne en Ville with a contemporary and light cuisine. Audacity, passion and balance sum up their motto. Kevin Lejeune obtained his first Michelin star in October 2020. In 2022, La Canne en Ville moved to the foot of the Steigenberger Wiltcher's hotel on the prestigious Avenue Louise. This transfer was the occasion to give a menu in addition to the proposed menus. The cuisine remains as contemporary and pure as ever.


After some hesitation about his future, as a teenager the chef decided to move to a new restaurant. He quickly understood that this would become his profession and even more his passion.

An apprenticeship launched him in the greatest restaurants of Belgium, which allowed him to acquire experience and maturity. At the age of 30, Lejeune Kevin opened his restaurant with his wife Virginie in this former butcher shop in the Ixelles district. It didn't take him long to get his first star in the kitchen and many other awards. In 2022, the chef and his wife decided to move La Canne en Ville to take advantage of a larger and more contemporary space. This is how they settled at the foot of the luxurious Steigenberger Wiltcher's hotel on the prestigious Avenue Louise.


The Menu

Between tradition and modernity, a complete gastronomic experience will be proposed to you.

The menu, composed of products selected with the greatest care, changes every 3 months according to the seasons, a true initiation to the journey of the best in the plate as well as in itself.

At noon, a business lunch that changes every 2 weeks (starter, main course and dessert) with seasonal products.

The Wines

A wine and champagne list, between classicism and modernity, selected by numerous oenological journeys as well as by his favorites.

The selection proposed with the menu is precise and will take you on new unknown grounds for some.

A combination of non-alcoholic drinks, elaborated in-house, is available and will surprise you by its creativity and its accuracy on the different dishes of the menus.

For lovers of fortified wines, a Madeira cart of several vintages will be the perfect accompaniment to your selection of cheeses.


The Place

Newly installed on the prestigious Avenue Louise, La Canne en Ville is dressed in a hushed atmosphere in an elegant, refined and relaxed setting. You will have the choice between several rooms with soft colors overhung by magnificent artistic lightings all in curves created especially for La Canne en Ville and its spaces. Large varnished oak tables and voluptuous and comfortable banquettes will make your dining experience unique.
